Our Practice

Welcome to our practice! We are dedicated to getting you and your family healthy – and making sure you stay that way. Our youngest patients are newborns and our oldest is 102!

Our board-certified physicians provide medical coverage in our office as well as the Welland General Hospital, Port Colborne Hospital, nursing homes, Extended care, and at the Urgent care/ER centers of the Niagara Health System.

We have rotating medical students work in our office, which allows for a unique learning environment for our future medical professionals, as well as provide patients with the opportunity to be a part of the learning process.

Our Staff

The front-line staff has a wealth of knowledge and compassion and are dedicated to your health care needs!

Sue is our medical receptionist who always has a warm smile and hearty laugh! She ensures all the day to day operations run smoothly. Our office manager, Rita, has been with us for over 40 years and is priceless in the overall function of the clinic. Ella performs echocardiograms on site for cardiac services.

Our Physicians

Dr. D. Goswami

Dr. Goswami has been practicing medicine for 49 years. He completed his residency training at Dalhousie University School of Medicine and started his practice in Welland in 1979. He has been Vice President of the NHS Welland Site, Chief of Family Medicine, Welland Site, works as a hospitalist, provides in-patient care a the hospital, works in 2 nursing homes, extended care unit, and assisted living facility. He is an Adjunct Assistant Clinical Professor at Queens University and a preceptor in medical training with the Rural Ontario Medical Program. He is actively involved in continuing medical education and can often be found on house calls throughout town.

Dr. S. Rana

Dr. Rana was born and raised in Chicagand

completed his residency training from the Medical College of WIsconsin, where he served as Chief Resident. He has worked in the ER's in Chicago, training medical students and residents. He has been Medical Director at urgent care centers in Buffalo. He also works in the ER/Urgent care centers of the NHS. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine by the Canadian College of

Family Physicians and the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. R. Goswami

After completing residency at the University

of Western Ontario in London, Dr. R. Goswami worked in an urgent care in London and did locum tenens. She has served as an Examiner for the College of Family Physicians (CFPC) Board exams. She is Secretary/Treasurer of the Niagara South Medical Society and also sits on the Patient Education Committee at the CFPC. She is Board Certified by the Canadian College of Family Physicians.
